While the rest of the city faces the lakefront, we're turning the lights down.

Material hosts VASTLab Experimental for one night of international experimental short film: twelve works from eight countries, with select films scored live by Missing Piece, the Chicago duo of Dan Galat (violin) and Kelly Quesada (cello). Each live score happens once, in this room, and never the same way again.

VLX is a touring program built artist-first and never pay-to-play. Chicago is its only Midwest stop this season.

Seating is limited to thirty. Admission is free.
